Ignition-Native Lift Optimization: Analytics, Control, Alarming
- Built on Ignition: best-in-class licensing, alarming/notification, tag historian, security, and mobile Perspective UI.
- Most POC models available for seamless integration (Centrilift, GE, Lufkin, SMARTEN, Unico, Weatherford, and more!)
- Operator-directed control: change manufacturer settings and set-points; issue Start, Stop, Idle, Alarm Reset, and Clock Set with RBAC and full audit trail.

Use the map view to monitor well locations, as well as dynamic well status details like ON status, OFF status, and Communication Failures.
Downhole Tab.
Unify POC data, detailed status, remote set-points.
- Connect any POC via Modbus serial/Ethernet or OPC UA; manage all wells from one gateway.
- Poll at high frequency over Modbus TCP, or utilize round-robin scheduling of master/slaves over Modbus serial.
- Auto-capture surface & downhole dynocards; pull cards manually when needed.
- Troubleshoot with per-well status views; monitor fleets via group status grids or map views.
- Publish control commands securely (Start/Stop/Idle/Alarm Reset/Clock Set) with approvals and audit trail; route alarms via SMS, voice, email, or Teams/Twilio.
Outcomes You Can Measure
Reduce costs, increase response times, and scale operations.
Do I need Ignition to use iPOC?
Yes. iPOC runs on Ignition 8.x and is Perspective-only so your dashboards work on phones, tablets, and desktops in a browser. (No Vision project required.)
Which pump-off controllers are supported?
Major vendors out of the box (e.g., Lufkin, SMARTEN, Weatherford). We can add others by loading their register maps and testing a few wells.
How does iPOC collect data?
Over Ethernet (Modbus/TCP) and on-site serial lines (Modbus/RTU) using a local gateway for round-robin polling. We can also bridge via OPC UA or publish/consume MQTT Sparkplug B.
What can we control remotely?
Authorized users can change set-points and settings, and issue Start, Stop, Idle, Alarm Reset, Clock Set. All actions are role-based and fully audit-logged.
Does it capture dynamometer cards?
Yes. Surface and downhole dynamometer cards are saved automatically, and you can pull cards on demand. Data is stored in Ignition’s Tag Historian (or your historian) and can be exported.
How are alarms and notifications handled?
Using Ignition alarm pipelines—schedules, escalations, suppression, storm control—with delivery by SMS, voice, email, or Microsoft Teams/Twilio. Acknowledgments are recorded.
Can iPOC integrate with other Avadine software services?
Yes. We exchange data via APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, or SQL. Common integrations include sending iPOC data to Avadine dashboards/reporting apps (e.g., WellTraq, Greyswift) or triggering workflows—tell us what you’d like to connect.
